The Courageous Journey
This retreat is designed to help women who have been hurt sexually, find their lives affected by their own sexual brokenness, or another's sexual brokenness. Life is often filled with hurts that go unnoticed or get pushed so far down into our hearts that we don't emotionally remember just how much they hurt us.
Sexual abuse, sexual brokenness, or hurts by another oftentimes are remembered (although sometimes repressed) but not truly "felt". We tend to look at our hurts as if they happened to "another". We are told by well-meaning helpers that we have to be able to fully "tell" the story, or remember what has happened, but true healing really requires more then that. It requires a "grieving" of the hurt, a remembrance of what actually happened and the individual hurts that go along with the actual actions.
The Courageous Journey is a retreat designed to help you unlock the doorways of your broken heart and find the true hurts, walk towards them, and begin to heal.

Healing Prayer and Time with GodEach road to healing is best paved with time alone with the Lord to pray and allow Him to take you where He wants you to go. We will spend time in prayer, have times where others will pray over you, and ask the Holy Spirit to show you the wounds. He knows you, He wants to heal your heart so that it can be more fully His.
